A comprehensive induction training programme for youth workers and human resources managers will be developed to ensure that the maximum impact can be achieved with the new resources being developed. This induction training programme will place a significant emphasis on underpinning the reputation, professionalism and standing of front-line professionals especially where working in on- line, interactive environments is concerned.
The induction training will also support front-liners to produce their own media-rich, mini-learning-format resources.
The induction training will comprise 42 hours of training made up of 21 hours of face to face instruction looking at extracting the maximum value from the new resources produced and 21 hours of self directed on-line learning addressing the more pedagogic and theoretical elements of the curriculum.
